Randall White (Mystr_Lux)

For me, doing lighting design has been the best avenue for creativity. Much like a painter, I use color and varying levels of intensity to create a mood and paint a backdrop.

I studied Lighting Design at Cypress College in California in 2014, but my learning has not stopped there. I worked as an Entertainment Stage Technician at Disney World Resort in Florida where I learned from the best in Live Entertainment.

Outside of Disney I’ve also worked with Celebration Theatre Company as their Lighting Designer in Residence. Together, the creative team and I have been able to produce high-quality theatrical productions and cabarets. My debut with Celebration was at the Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando for their production of Legally Blonde: The Musical (2018). We sold out quickly and guests even thought we were the Broadway tour, asking us where we were going next!

I look forward to continue my work as a Lighting Designer and will be using my skills in more upcoming productions and art installations.
